Alys leads the talent function at Aspen Legal and is the primary point of contact for our secondees.

Alys has experience in partnering with clients to identify and recruit top talent in difficult markets across various sectors, from start-up to large-scale international companies. She is skilled in understanding each individual client and the type of person required to be successful in their team, and enjoys the challenge and reward that comes with this process.

Building strong, long-lasting relationships is at the forefront of everything that Alys does and she brings this mindset to her role at Aspen Legal where she is focused on supporting the growth of the secondments business.

Alys is responsible for growing our talent pools at Aspen Legal, working closely with the broader secondments team to carefully match lawyers with the right opportunity. She is also the primary point of contact for our secondees where she aims to provide a seamless, efficient and enjoyable service to better support their personal and professional goals.

Originally from New Zealand, Alys has called Australia (first Melbourne, now Sydney) home for nearly 5 years. In her spare time, you will find her at the gym, hiking, cooking up a storm, and travelling to different locations all around the world.

Alys brings a deep understanding of talent acquisition and client fit to Aspen Legal’s secondments—building lasting relationships and delivering tailored, people-first resourcing solutions across industries.
