Anu Aitken

Anu is a Sydney-based senior commercial lawyer who works with Aspen Legal’s clients across both the law firm and on secondment.

Prior to joining Aspen Legal, Anu was an in-house lawyer for a leading regional university and one of its subsidiaries, and has experience in corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, research contracting, regulatory compliance, procurement and privacy.

She also has significant experience in disputes and litigation, having spent the first part of her career as a Legal Aid family lawyer and Judge’s Associate. Anu is a warm and personable lawyer, who values client relationships and delivering legal services that exceeds expectations.

Anu loves spending her free time exploring Sydney with her husband and kids, or decompressing in a pilates or yoga class.

With a strong foundation in both commercial and litigation work, Anu supports Aspen Legal clients with warmth, versatility and deep in-house insight—across both secondments and legal advisory.
